North Coast Old Stock Ale 2009 - $12.99 4pkb - $3.50 single

..Old Stock Ale is well-designed to round-out and mellow with age. We know it’s hard to believe that this exquisite beer can actually improve, but trust us. The waiting can be an excellent exercise in self-discipline and the reward is built in… …We suggest a year’s cellaring to let the complex flavors develop, but the longer you wait, the greater the drinking enjoyment”
Birra Amarcord Prima Donna - $10.99 6pkb

Prima Donna Special Lager is a classic lager noted for its unique aroma and its unsurpassed hoppy flavour. It is characterized by a brilliant golden color, a compact head, and its fresh, thirst-quenching qualities.
Great Divide Claymore Scotch Ale - $8.99 6pkb

Claymore Scotch ale is a tribute to the legendary "Wee Heavy" beers of Scotland. A malty, deep-ruby-hued ale, it features a generous amount of caramel sweetness, a reserved hop profile and a subtle warming character, at 7.7% alcohol by volume. Claymore will be available in six-packs and on draft through mid-April.
Avery Collaboration not Litigation Batch #3 - $6.99 22oz

Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River Brewing and Adam Avery of Avery Brewing. After becoming friends a few years ago, they realized that they both had a Salvation in our line-ups. Was it going to be a problem? Should one of them relinquish the rights? "Hell no!" In fact, it was quickly decided that they should blend the brews to catch the best qualities of each and create an even more complex libation. Natalie, Vinnie's much more significant other, exclaimed, "We should call this Collaboration, not Litigation Ale!" "Perfect!" we shouted. Fast forward to November 14, 2006. After talking about it for over 2 years we finally decided to pull the trigger and Vinnie flew out to Avery to brew his Salvation exactly as he does in his brewery.
Buffalo Belgian Stout - $10.99 25oz

BUFFALO from Brouwerij Van Den Bossche is dark, almost black, top fermented Belgian style stout. In 1907 "Buffalo Bill's" Circus from the US played on the town square of Sint-Lievens-Esse. The brewery workers arranged for a young apprentice to watch over the brew kettels. He did, but he forgot to stir and Buffalo was born. The New Buffalo was created to commemorate 100th Anniversary of that event.

BELZEBUTH from Brasserie Grain D'Orge is a very unique golden ale in the world at 13% alc./vol. It is top-fermented all malt filtered ale. Its pungent taste is a result of a particular variety of yeast and mixture of three different malts. No extra alcohol is added to the natural process nor water is removed to increase its strength. This golden ale has a complex aroma, which almost defies description with fullness of flavors overcoming the warming sensation of alcohol. Perfect as an aperitif or with a sinful desserts.

|
DUCHESSE DE BOURGOGNE from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

A startlingly true Munich Hefeweizen from the most fabled of the Bavarian beer houses....“Once upon a time, Weissbier could only be brewed by ducal privilege. Hofbräuhaus enjoyed this exclusive right for nearly 200 years, thus holding a monopoly on Weissbier in Bavaria. But even without a monopoly, Hofbräu Hefe Weizen is a really special kind of beer. Characterized by its sparkling rich foam and naturally by its unforgettable refreshing and fruity taste. It is brewed according to an ancient tradition and offers an alcoholic content of approximately 5.1% by volume.” –Hofbrau.com

Nostradamus
... from Brasserie Caracole is a very complex artisanal Wallonian Brown Ale A core of fig and date aromas is supported by notes of licorice, caramel, and toffee; more subtle, decorative notes of ginger and marzipan flesh it out further. While it’s sweeter than the other beers, a slight iced tea note comes on later to add a drying, tannic touch to the finish. 9.5% ABV

Brewery Michael Plank Heller Doppelbock
Universally praised... this brew poured a dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. ... a warm, welcoming aroma that showcased the brew's flavor profile of honey, toasted dough, caramel, floral hops, citrus, and grain notes. Taste was lightly sweet, with hints of raisins, and toffee malt. The 7.8% ABV is mostly hidden. Might not fit strict guidelines of a Dopplebock to some, but this proved to be a truly excellent beer. one of the highest rated beer in the world! Note- only 400 cases of this outstanding beer are produced each year so if you see it consider buying as many as are available.

A+ in the Beer Advocate 100 points in Rate Beer
...Pours a clear orange amber color with a small fine white head. The aroma upon opening the bottle was inviting: caramel and toffee melded with a bevy of fruits (citrus, grapefruit, pineapple,), pine and floral notes. The flavor balances nicely between the moderately sweet caramel maltiness and the bitterness of the hops; pine, floral, and resiny. I don’t get much in the way of alcohol, probably because the aroma and flavor are too distracting. This is an excellent beer. Medium-full bodied and super easy to drink. I can’t wait to try this on tap someday.

New Beer from Alaskan Brewing
Alaskan Pale Style: Golden Ale. A blonde, lighter bodied beer with a floral aroma and a crisp, hoppy finish that's not bitter. The hop character of Alaskan Pale is due to dry hopping by hand during the fermentation process. Flavor Profile: A clean, softly malted body with a hint of citrus overtones, followed by a hop-accented dry, crisp finish. Complements light flavors such as prawns, crab and halibut. Also a good accompaniment to spicy ethnic food. This is a particularly thirst quenching beer on a hot day.

Alaskan Smoked Porter Style: Smoked Beer. Known as "rauchbier" in Germany, smoke-flavored beers were virtually unknown in the U.S. until Alaskan Smoked Porter was developed in 1988. Flavor Profile: The dark, robust body and pronounced smoky flavor of this limited edition beer make it an adventuresome taste experience. Alaskan Smoked Porter is produced in limited "vintages" each year and unlike most beers, may be aged in the bottle much like fine wine. Alaskan Smoked Porter may be enjoyed with smoked seafood, cheese and other robust foods and as an after-dinner drink. It pairs beautifully with everything from bleu cheese to vanilla ice cream and raspberries. This unique beer is also a wonderful flavoring ingredient in sauces, seafood dishes and even cheesecake.
Alaskan Winter Ale Style: English Olde Ale. Traditionally malty with the warming sensation of alcohol, Olde Ales are brewed in the fall as winter warmers. Flavor Profile:
Brewed in the style of an English Olde Ale, this ale balances the sweet heady aroma of spruce tips with the clean crisp finish of noble hops. Its malty richness is complemented by the warming sensation of alcohol. Perfect winter warmer by the fireside or an accompaniment to holiday fare. Serve with roast goose, turkey, ham or lamb. A nice complement to holiday breads, pound cake, or apple pie.

Alaskan Amber one of the most often requested beers
we couldn't get over the last 4 years now available in
6-packs, 12-packs and bombers!
Alaskan Amber is a Alt style beer and
tastes as good as the description below!!!
A Düsseldorf specialty, an Altbier is a German style brown ale, the “alt” literally translates to "old" in German, and traditionally Altbiers are conditioned for a longer than normal periods of time. Other sources note that "alt" is derived from the Latin word "altus," which means "high" and refers to the rising yeast. Take your pick, but the extended conditioning mellows out the ale's fruitiness and produces an exceptionally smooth and delicate brew. The color ranges from amber to dark brown, medium in carbonation with a great balance between malt and hops.

Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. |

This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.
